Catastrophe On Mississippi River: Tugboat Sinks, Closing River To Traffic
by Monica Davis Business along the Mississippi are facing revenue loss after a tugboat sank in the Mississippi River Saturday. The Coast Guard closed the river until the tug can be salvaged. The Coast Guard has shut down Mississippi River traffic in southeastern Louisiana as the search continues for a sunken tugboat. The 48-foot tug C-Pec sank Saturday afternoon.
